My Career

My love for games began at age 3, when I picked up an NES controller and got my ass kicked in Ninja Gaiden.

Fast forward to 2021 when I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Design from Indiana University, as well as published my first game - The Shadows That Linger - with Crimson Ink Games.

I soon landed an internship at Protagonist Games, which led to a full-time job. I worked as a game designer on a handful of projects there, including a CCG called CyBall.

After Protag downsized, I transitioned to another game designer role at HiDef Entertainment, where I gained experience creating mobile games.

Following another wave of layoffs, I completed a design contract at Bully Entertainment and am now looking for work again.

What I Bring to the Table

I take great joy in writing design documentation, as well as in creating spreadsheets and mockups. I apply a detail-oriented approach to my designs to ensure the richest possible experience for the player.

I'm also excellent at taking feedback. No criticism toward my work could ever discourage me or prevent me from delivering in the end. Instead, I value other people's perspectives and use their feedback to improve my designs.

Lastly, I'm proud of the way I communicate across disciplines. Through my side experience in producer roles, I recognize different people's challenges and needs. Understanding the work processes of engineers, artists, fellow designers, and producers, has helped me work more conscientiously within game dev teams.
